Thank you to reply, I am so happy!
My country is Taiwan.
Now I am a university student in Taipei.
I am 21 years old.

My English is not good ,so the mail which I replied is not long and not good. Sorry~
Nice to meet you!!
Keep in touch!

(Dheeraj):
Hello there!
Thank you so much for the email. It was really nice to hear from you and to know that you are interested in being friends with me. You can hardly find a girl who is willing to be friends with a guy. Generally they are looking for other girls of the same age group.

I would love to hear more from you. If you write long emails or letters, may be it will help you in improving your english skills. I am not very good at english either but if you have the desire to learn something, nothing is impossible.

I will close now,
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Regards,
Dheeraj

Hello Dheeraj
After read your letter, you seem to think that I am a woman. Actually I am a male,I am sorry that I forget to explain this.

Let's talk about my family. My family has grandparents, parents, two elder sisters, and a younger sister, what about you? My two elder sisters are also college students, we study in different places, so we seldom go home. But we still keep in touch, I very love my family.

Good luck!!
Looking forward to hearing from you.

(Dheeraj):

I am the youngest, my sister is married to an indian and has one daughter; they stay in Botswana, a small country in southern africa. My brother is also married and stays with us as a family and he too has got a son.
Hey would you care to write letters? i love writing letters! Helps me collect stamps, hehe!

I will end now. Looking forward to hearing from you.

Hello Dheeraj
Thank you to reply. Hehe…, it’s ok that you thought I am a female. Your family sounds very happy, too. I also love writing letter, but the distance between Taiwan and Indian is very far, and the postage is not cheap. Now I am a university student ,I may have no extra money to pay the postage ,so sorry…, I will get in touch with mail among the short time. But I will help you to collect stamps,I can send stamps to you afterwards.
I am very interesting to know your cultural custom, can you talk about it?

Good luck!!
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Pao-Huan

(Dheeraj):
Hello there!
Thanks for the email and thanks for being straight forward about not being able to send letters, i really appreciate it when people are clear about certain things. The weather here is not good. It's been raining since the beginning of this month and the weather has become cold. How is Taipei?

Best regards,
Dheeraj

Hello Dheeraj
Thank you to reply. It is also quite cold in Taipei now, and it had often rained recently. I hate raining, because the clothes can not dry.
The April 5 is a special festival in Taiwan, the Chinese name is “Qing Ming Day”. We usually hold a memorial ceremony in front of the tomb for our ancestry. That day needn't go to school and go to work. Do you have similar festival?

Looking forward to hearing from you.
Pao-Huan

(Dheeraj):
Hi there!
Thanks so much for the email. Hmm... yes we do have a lot of festivals and holidays in India. Almost every month has like 2-3 holidays when we do not need to go to school or work at the offices. Generall sunday! I am kidding! But we really have a lot of festivals here in India. As you know India is a big country with different languages and cultures, so every state in India has its own festivals besides the religious festivals that are identical.

C u around,
Dheeraj

Hello Dheeraj
Thank you to reply, and thank you for your explanation. Taiwan is not big, and the cuslture are not alike for every place. The main language of Taiwan is Chinese, Taiwanese, and Hakka. I can speak Chinese and Taiwanese. My first language is Chinese, what is your first language?

It is colder recently, please take care of your body.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Pao-Huan

(Dheeraj):
Hi there!
Thanks so much for the email. India is a very big country with many states and every state has its own language. I mean there are so many languages in India. The language changes at a distance of almost every 5 kilometers, but the official language of India is Hindi, I speak Hindi, Pahari (local language), Punjabi (another language spoken in a nearby state), English, a little bit of Setswana (African language) and very few words of Cantonese (Chinese).

Majority of the indian population is Hindu but we have a lots of other religions as well, Buddhists, Muslims, Christians, Jain, Sikh and so many.

It sunny today but still cold. How is Tw? Anyway, i will close now.

Regards,
Dheeraj
